Students who are applying for an MBA and some management related fields may need to take the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) in addition to the TOEFL. The GMAT measures basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills and helps graduate management programs assess students who would like to pursue advanced study in business and management. GMAT scores are used by nearly 1700 graduate management programs throughout the world, and about 1000 schools require GMAT scores from each applicant.
