Students who are applying for a graduate (master’s or Ph.D) degree in the USA may need to take the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) in addition to the TOEFL. Depending on your proposed field of study and the colleges you are applying to, the GRE may be required or recommended.

There are two types of GRE available: GRE General Test and GRE Subject Tests. The GRE General Test is a computer-based test consisting of analytical writing, verbal, and quantitative sections, and is offered at USEF-Nepal. The GRE Subject Tests are paper-based tests, offered twice or thrice a year at St. Xavier’s School.
